Cansei de Ser Sexy na Shortlist!

Após um ano de hiato, é anunciada a "Sohrtlist" uma espécie de lista dos disco mais notáveis lançados nos EUA no ano passado, mas que não atingiram a marca de 500 mil cópias vendidas no país. A lista é organizada pelo músico Sufjan Stevens, e entre os responsáveis pela seleção desse ano estão o guitarrista/vocalista do Snow Patrol Gary Lightbody, Ronnie Vannucci, baterista do The Killers , Franz Ferdinand, KT Tunstall, Panic! At The Disco, Flaming Lips e jornalistas especializados.

O que mais me impressionou no site deles (que eu achei horrível, por sinal), foi a turnê mundial que a banda vem fazendo. Realmente é um fenômeno da internet a CSS. Pra quem não lembra como tudo começou, a banda disponibilizou o disco na internet, e a repercussão foi tamanha que chamou a atenção da gravadora Trama, que fez o lançamento oficial do primeiro CD, "Cansei de Ser Sexy". A Trama tem bons contatos com o mercado internacional, e a CSS canta em inglês, o que permitiu sua fácil disseminação pela Europa...
